Thailand Pass System

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, it is mandatory for both Thai and foreign travelers who intend to enter Thailand to register to ‘Thailand Pass System’ to make the documentation process of travelers entering Thailand.

The Thailand Pass System is a free-of-charge, online-based system that replaces the previous Certificate of Entry (COE) system. Travelers must register to the Thailand Pass System in order to submit their travel and health information such as vaccine certificates for processing of the documented permission to enter Thailand.

You may find comprehensive information concerning Application Steps, Documents Required, Self-Registration Portal for Thailand Pass, as well as Service Provider for facilitating the process and Rates from the link https://www.thaiembassy.com/travel-to-thailand/thailand-pass.

Travel Insurance

To apply for Thailand Pass, one of the mandatory documents that travelers must submit to the system is the COVID-19 insurance policy. The qualified insurance policy must expressly state that it covers up to 50,000 USD medical expenses including COVID 19 for the costs of isolation, quarantine, testing, and treatment. The insurance must cover the whole stay of the applicant in Thailand. Please keep in mind that the Thailand Pass System only accepts one attachment therefore it is important to have a one-page Certificate of Insurance with all the required information.

The details concerning the requirement of COVID-19 insurance for entering Thailand can be found from the provided link below. [You may also find the recommended insurance coverage/plan as well as qualified insurance provider from the link.] Normally, the price of insurance is about

USD100 for covering a minimum of USD 50,000 for 30 days of travel. For more details, please visit the link https://www.thaiembassy.com/trav- el-to-thailand/covid-19-insurance-for-thailand.
