Water Runner is an animation that portrays the contrast between the beauty of the natural world and the destruction that climate change provokes. A young child who once loved to run across the water and soak in their natural surroundings is now met with disaster and destruction burning everything they loved to the ground. I was inspired to make this animation as I wanted to depict the horrors of climate change through the lens of an anthropomorphized Earth and capture the emotion that many of us feel regarding the climate crisis.
