I created this artwork inspired by the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic. I wanted to portray the fears and paranoia of an individual living during this time. To portray these fears I used exaggerated facial expressions and more translucent coloring. I showed a person blowing the COVID-19 particles through a bubble blower and multiple hands grabbing for the figure on the left. The fear of being touched and accidentally inhaling the virus are common and I wanted to paint this portrait to communicate and empathize with these distresses. Appropriately, I named the portrait 'The Pandemic Paranoia'.
