Melanie Saville joined the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) in November 2017. She is the Director of Vaccine Research and Development, and leads the technical teams supporting the vaccine development and enabling science projects funded by CEPI and is the R&D and Manufacturing workstream leader for COVAX. Melanie is a physician specialized in virology with 20 yrs of experience in the development and licensure of vaccines for the developed and developing world.
