This side meeting will examine different aspects of the world the People's Health Movement envisages. This will include consideration of community-based publicly funded and provided health services; what is required to meet the SDGs by 2030 and what alternative economic systems might mean for health, sustainability and equity.  The three videos PMAC funded the PHM to produce will be introduced, shown and discussed. 

This meeting will consist of presentation of three videos PHM has made with support from PMAC. Each of them looks at aspects of the world we want in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The three videos are:

i. What needs to change? Rethinking the SDGs in the pandemic aftermath. 

ii. Building Equitable Health Systems.

iii. Post-pandemic global economics: restructure, reform, or just revitalize? 

We will introduce each video and after screening it, open discussion on the key themes in each video.
